As a psychic medium and witch, I get to know my clients really well. In fact, I sometimes probably know more about them than they do! So I thought it would be fun for you to get to know more about me. Here are 5 facts about lil’ old me, Sunshine.
Fun Fact #1: My Maternal Grandma Was a Medium
If you’ve been around for a while, then you may have heard more about my maternal grandmother than anyone else. Dorothy Jean! She was an incredibly talented medium who referred to her gift as an ability to “talk to the angels.” I never witnessed her sessions, but I have heard a ton about them. Only once did I get to see her gift, and that was when she described my guardian angel to me while we were on a road trip. She said that it was the first angel she had seen with iridescent, rainbow-colored wings!
Fun Fact #2: My Ex-Girlfriend Left Us Suddenly
I’ve identified as bi-sexual since I was a teenager, and I’ve had a few girlfriends. One of my ex-girlfriends and I didn’t speak for years after we broke up. Eventually, we reconciled and I was delighted when she invited me to a baby shower for her first born. Unfortunately, a year after that beautiful soul was brought into this world, my ex passed away in her sleep at the age of 31. It was one of the saddest things that I’d experienced in my life. Of course, I’m delighted to speak to her any time, but I know that her little daughter missed out on the joy she that my ex brought to the world.
Fun Fact #3: My Maternal Grandfather Was an Alcoholic
Not only was my maternal grandfather an alcoholic, but it was a 12-step program that brought him into our lives! That’s right: my grandmother had 8 children when she met my grandfather. The oldest child had gotten himself into trouble a handful of times, and one of those times someone was looking out for him. You see, they called my grandfather to come help him out…and, well, set him straight…you know, to show him what a life of sobriety could look like! Shortly after that, my grandfather showed up on my grandmother’s porch. As he just said to me: “best decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
Fun Fact #4: My Paternal Grandfather Has Been With Me My Whole Life
Unfortunately, I was never able to meet my paternal grandfather in person. He passed away when my father was young. Little did I know, though, that he was the spirit that I’ve seen most of my life. He was the very first “ghost” that I came across as a child. As I’ve stepped into my mediumship gifts and have had more conversations with him, I’ve realized that he’s a lovely soul that has spent much of his time protecting his family. I’m very happy that we can chat now. 🙂
Fun Fact #5: My Uncle and Cousin are the Goofballs
Every single family has them. You know what I’m talking about: those family members who are quick to throw out a crude joke. They’re the ones who love living life in the fast lane. Yup… and I have two of them on the other side: my mother’s oldest brother and my cousin. These two are the ones who love to say snarky, crazy things to my clients. And OH boy do they adore reminding me that I promise to share whatever I’m told.
