Intro To The 12 Zodiac Signs

If you have decided to venture on a spiritual journey, there is a high probability that you also have an interest in astrology. (Well, at least I have yet to meet any spiritual warriors that don’t dabble in astrology even if it’s a tiny bit). So I thought I’d share my intro to the 12 Zodiac Signs!

Aries (The Ram, Fire Sign, Cardinal Sign) Represents: New beginnings, adventurer, courage, part of the body is the ‘head’. These individuals are going to have a bit of fire in them and very likely be active in whatever they are passionate about.

Taurus (The Bull, Earth sign, Fixed sign) Represents: Possessive, calm, relaxed, materialistic, loves creature comforts, part of the body is the ‘neck and throat’. These individuals are very likely home bodies and spend a lot of time tending to their surroundings to ensure they are always comfy and cozy.

Gemini (The Twins, Air Sign, Mutable) Represents: Communications, impulsive, changeable, inquiring, intelligent, exploring, part of the body is the ‘lungs, arms, and hands’.  These individuals know how to hold a conversation and may very likely talk your ear off. Also, if ya find someone talking to themselves…well they just might be a Gemini. 😉

Cancer (The Crab, Water Sign, Cardinal) Represents: The home, shy, emotional, intuitive, protective, domestic, part of the body is ‘stomach and breasts’. These individuals will often be seen as very sensitive and emotional. If you’re ever at a wedding, you can glance around and notice those cancer folks by their handfuls of tissue.

Leo (The Lion, Fire sign, Fixed) Represents: Ownership, pride, ego, power, children, passion, works well alone, part of the body is the ‘heart and spine’. These individuals typically love to shine and will often be the center of attention. If ya ever need someone to fight a battle with ya, bring in your Leo friend.

Virgo (The Virgin, Earth sign, Mutable) Represents: Attention to details, worrying, practical, analytical, discriminating, clean, a perfectionist, part of the body is the ‘colon’. These individuals have an incredible sense of detail. If you find yourself needing to plan a big event or project, pull in a virgo and watch that project plan almost manage itself.

Libra (The Scale, Air sign, Cardinal) Represents: Marriage and union, partnerships, diplomatic, compassionate, balanced, part of the body is the ‘kidneys’. These individuals will always manage to find a way to fit in no matter the situation you put them in. Just don’t ask them to make any decisions if they are in unfamiliar territory because that is NOT their strong suit.

Scorpio (The Scorpion or Eagle, Water sign, Fixed) Represents: Intense, death, rebirth, responsibility, genuine, purification, the mafia of the zodiac, the part of the body that is the ‘sexual organs’. These individuals are your truth tellers. If you ever happen to find yourself needing some honest, blunt feedback, find yourself a scorpio to give it to you.

Sagittarius (The Archer, Fire sign, Mutable) Represents: Truth, religion, philosophy, generous, frank, enthusiastic, reason rather than emotion, adventurer, part of the body is ‘lower back and thighs’. These individuals are the absolute best road trip buddies. If you ever want to just jump in the car and leave the world behind, grab yourself a sagittarius to do it with and you’re guaranteed to have an adventure of a lifetime.

Capricorn (The Goat, Earth sign, Cardinal) Represents: Practical vision, unemotional, sober, orderly, control, manipulating, power, dependable, part of the body is the ‘knees’. These individuals are known to be very stoic and ‘unmovable’ so to speak, meaning once they make their minds up, good luck changing them. But if you find that you need some help with discipline, observe a Capricorn in the wild. Their ability to stick to a routine is second to none.

Aquarius (The Water Bearer, Air sign, Fixed) Represents: Detached, team work, friends, unconventional, humane, independent, warm, part of the body is the ‘legs and hips’.  These individuals are known to be wonderful friends and companions. If you don’t have a best friend yet, seek out an Aquarian and get ready for some wonderful conversations and good times.

Pisces (The Fishes, Water sign, Mutable) Represents: Intuitive, accepting, understanding, impressionable, part of the body is the ‘feet and ankles’. These individuals can sometimes be known to have their heads in the cloud. This comes in handy though when you’re trying to explore new ideas so if you need some help being inspired, grab a Piscean and share your challenge with them.
